Review of TuneUp Utilities 2010 for Windows 04/05/2010

I have discovered a program for Windows, which is a very good solution for any PC. The software costs $49.95, which is quite normal. First up, the features.
When you launch TuneUp you get a nice overview with four columns.
The first one is Maintain System:
You can remove broken shortcuts, defragment and clean the registry, defragment your hard disk and do an overall optimization with recommendations. The last one is very helpful and helps you make decisions regarding your computer’s speed and state.
On to the second column, Increase Performance:
Uninstaller, startup programs manager and disk cleaner, where the program proposes different ways of getting precious disk space back. That’s not all. The two following features are special modes, which can play an important role in speeding up you computer. One is Live Optimization, which runs in the background and improves your computer’s performance. When it is doing its job, it shows an icon in the notification area. The second is Turbo Mode. This mode ensures that any scheduled tasks or services won’t start when you are running a program, which takes many resources.
The next column is Fix Problems:
In this column you have the option to find solutions for common problems with the help of a very simple wizard. You can check your hard disk for errors, restore deleted files and manage your running programs.
The last column has something special up its sleeve – Customize Windows:
There are many themes for your log in screen and overall style on TuneUp’s homepage. It’s helps you change other settings related to your system’s look as well. It’s a very good feature to be put into a maintenance program.
There’s a bar on the top, where you can access the different settings and get information about your changes made to your system, your system and help.
Why do I like this software and why will you like it? The user interface is very nice and it has neat features packed into it. I like that customizing the look of Windows is made very easy. Many people want to personalize the look of their OS.The program can be integrated with the OS’s interface in some ways too.
I’m getting the feeling that I’m only reviewing the best of the best. This software clearly deserves a 5/5.
